Halloween!
Let's get past the fact that I have seriously slacked in the blog department of late and just get to the pictures, shall we?
Never ones to plan ahead in the weeks or months preceding Halloween, we have yet to achieve Halloween zen by coordinating all of our family's costumes together. The best we could do this year was two themes--super heroes and Star Wars--with a vampire and a flapper thrown in there for good measure. What can I say? Halloween is not in our wheel house, exactly. But dressing up and make-upping the kids three times this year (lame community fall festival, ward Halloween party, and actual Halloween) has earned us an A for effort, if I do say so. (Well, it's earned Craig and A for effort. I am pretty sure I just crabbed extra hard about the expensive costumes and the time required for make-up, per usual.)
But anywho...
My strengths this year included picking out a Batgirl shirt for myself on Amazon, and (kind of) conquering the challenge of styling Alexa's short hair in the style of Ray from Star Wars.
Winner winner, candy for dinner.
