It's Already Begun...

In case you were wondering, yes, the girls have already begun to treat Spencer as one of their own. Here is Alexa kindly pretend-blow drying his hair with a princess blow-dryer. He'll have no shortage of fashion consultants, that's for sure.

I could seriously just kiss these tiny toes all day long. Oh, and also the cheeks, the fingers, and the fuzzy little head. 

It's really no wonder that I don't get anything done...

Color Me Lame

So, I got on the blog today after days and days and, well, weeks of inactivity and I have just one word for myself: stinking lame. Well, okay, that was two words, but you get the point. What happened to all of my lofty goals of posting several times a month once I was done with school? What happened to all of the pictures I planned on taking of my last baby? Where are all of my ingenious ideas of amazing and thought-provoking things to post about? And, most importantly, where the heck has all my time gone??

The answer is, of course, as elusive as a good night's sleep, but I will try to sum things up: I am so much busier than I have ever been before. This is, of course, despite the fact that I still am rarely out of pajamas before 2 in the afternoon, (if at all) and that the house seems to have fallen into a disarray that would make the Katie of yesteryear (namely the Katie with 3 children) ashamed. I'd love to say that I am back for good, but I won't lie. By the time 9:00 pm rolls around and all of the kidlings are finally in bed, and I have the choice between sitting on the couch or sitting at the computer and conjuring up a rational thought, I still just might pick the former. (Sorry again for the silent shunning of others "too busy" to post. I get it. I really do.)

This won't be a long one, as said couch as well as some time-consuming church responsibilities are calling my name, but here is a little review of what you've been missing.
