Our Thanksgiving this year was probably the most calm and easy one we've ever had. Pajamas all day. Catered by Bobby Q's (and a little bit by Grandma Linda, who likes certain side dishes done a certain special way). It was simple. It was uncomplicated and lovely. We soaked up every minute.

So...Thanksgiving Happened
Sometimes, (often) in the mad rush towards Christmas (and lately because of the monopolizing forces at work taking over my desk and computer) I find that Christmas is over and done with before I remember to mention Thanksgiving. Remember Thanksgiving? That Thursday holiday between Halloween and Christmas that involves turkey and cranberry sauce? Yes, that's the one.

And then we thought...hey, since we are intent on taking it easy today, why not go ahead and get out the Christmas boxes and start decorating for Christmas before dinner? Cuz that's how we roll.
