The Next Two+ Months

Summer is officially here. (The vacation. Not the season. Here the summer season started a few hot weeks ago.) More on the end of the school year later (two kinder graduations and one 5th grade promotion are a big, BIG deal), but for now I thought I'd let you in on what I'll be doing a lot of for the next couple of months:

Reading in a room by myself...until I am discovered.

(This can take anywhere from thirty seconds to twelve minutes.)

Pretending that I do not see the child that is trying to get my attention.

(Lasts two to three minutes.)

Finally acknowledging the child...

...then asking said child if he or she does not have something better to do

than photograph me reading.

Well, that should keep me busy through July. What are YOU going to do this summer?
