Last Call for Adventure

On our last full day in California (you know, the day before the mad dash to pack and get ready for the substantial trip home) we stayed put at my sister's house and enjoyed some slip 'n slide action. I didn't let the fact that it had been decades since I'd attempted such a feat stop me from joining in with the girls on our last California adventure together...I paid for it with sore abs until about 4 days after the fact, but I guess that comes with the territory, right?

Well, that' s the whole trip. No major meltdowns or vanishings on the way home, just a hot stop for ice cream in the middle of the desert and lots and lots of Backyardigans on the DVD player. We made it home safely to a Glad Daddy who missed us (and boy did we miss him!) and a newly done office that I absolutely love. (Pics forthcoming, of course.)
