It's a rare moment when we are able to get together with my whole family for Christmas, but it ended up working out this year and we, of course, had a blast amidst all of the chaos. Cyndie's family hadn't seen Spencer since we visited Utah in July, so they were ready for some wonderful baby boy snuggles, despite the fact that he rarely sits still long enough to be snuggled sufficiently.
Of course, we were so busy eating and having fun and eating some more that we didn't get a whole lot of pictures, but trust me when I say that we took the song's advice and had a holly jolly Christmas this year!

The real Christmas miracle was that we all stopped eating and talking long enough to actually get
a picture together as an entire family. This is pretty amazing since the last official family picture we took together was, oh, more than ten years ago before Craig and I were married. (That was the time that the photographer kept telling us that we needed to smile with our eyes open. Little did she know that that's an impossible feat for the Walkers. We can either smile, or we can keep our eyes open. We can't do both.)
2 parents, 5 siblings, 2 husbands, 1 partner, 6 granddaughters, 3 grandsons.
And a partridge in a pear tree.
P.S. Thanks to Craig for photo-shopping the two most decent pics together. You really are a stud.

What a nice family picture! I can't believe how much Cyndie's oldest looks like her! We are still awaiting the time when our whole family can get together...
ReplyDeleteI can't believe how big Fan is. It just blows my mind. You all look so cute. I love this family.
