The Five-Year-Old Vacation, Day Two: Chicago

Aren't you wondering why I haven't posted any more pictures of our Chicago trip from five years ago? Just kidding, I almost forgot about it myself.

To recap: Craig ran us ragged on our first day in the city. Day two wasn't quite so bad, though; we only went to two places instead of four. So, you know, comparatively, it was a pretty restful day.

You better believe that after seeing a bus that said "Latino Express" the day before,
I ran my 7-months-pregnant behind across two parking lots to get a picture of this one.
{Five years later, it's still funny.}

First stop was a trip to the Shedd Aquarium.
Beluga whales, sea anemones, and over-priced lunch were there to greet us.
{This picture of Linda is one of my favorites ever. She looks so darn cute and happy.}

After discovering that Chicago rush hour traffic is actually worse than Los Angeles
rush hour traffic (and that's saying a lot!), we hit the Legoland Discovery Center.
I'm pretty sure that if there were a heaven just for Lego lovers, it would look like this.

Easy day or no, you better believe we slept the sleep of the dead again that night.

Stay tuned for a million more pictures.
