And then, POOF! This cute baby appeared:
Feeling quite unsure of how this tiny newborn turned into a full-blown one-year-old, I visited the computer archives for evidence. Sure enough, she did it little by little by little. Lex's first birthday, February 1, 2011
Only a few short month's remain in Lexa's squishy babyhood, during which time I will hold her and squeeze her and love her as much as she will let me.
Happy Birthday, babykins, try to slow it down a little, will ya?
Happy Birthday Lexa! I can't believe it's been a year.
ReplyDeletenow i'm depressed! we only have 3 weeks left until i have to post something to this effect as well. now i totally see why my mom had 10 kids! if i were younger, richer, saner, i might consider 10, or at least 5. welp, no need to focus on what's not happening. i'm going to squeeze ellie and get ellie kisses before i go to bed tonight and try to not cry as i realize my firstborn is not really a baby anymore.
ReplyDeleteShe has such a sweet spirit. Happy birthday, Alexa!!!
