I can remember the license plate of the minivan that my mom drove before I went to high school. I still remember the address and phone number of the house I lived in when I was 7 years old. I remember all the makes and models of my friends' cars, can recite the birthdates of my parents, siblings, in-laws, nieces & nephews, children, and husband without blinking an eye, along with all my kids' birth-weights. I still remember over twenty quotes from Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves (which incidentally came out when I was 11, and which I haven't watched in at least fifteen years). And don't get me started on Home Alone. (Though, to be fair, I do watch that one a LOT more often.)
I remember the lyrics to all The Little Mermaid songs. I can clearly tell the story of things that happened over twenty years ago, and I still know a big chunk of the missionary discussions that I had to memorize back in 2002.
But I cannot. CANNOT. Remember what I needed when I walked into the pantry.
BWAHHAHAHAHA!!!!! Also, you are way ahead of me. I don't even know birthdates. Although, I can remember pretty much every lyric of every song I've ever heard. Even if I don't like it...
