Marshmallow Treasures to go, please
In the modern world, little kids don't have time to sit down and enjoy their breakfast at a table. In the Monson family, we understand that having maximum playtime is the most important commodity for today's busy children. That's why we offer a drive-thru breakfast service at the kitchen island for toddlers on the go...because eating a healthy breakfast shouldn't take precious time out of the rest of your day!

We. Are. Busted.
After much trial and tribulation (and a little bit of coaching from her daddy...grrr) Savanna has officially figured out how to open doors. Last night after we put her to bed, she climbed out of her crib and walked out of the room. (I should mention that her crib mattress is already as low as it can possibly go.) And today, while I was making dinner, little sweet Savanna pulled open the fridge all by her sweet little self.
Life as we know it is over.

I miss cable
We cancelled our cable recently and I have to admit that I haven't really missed it...until now. Here's why:

Every Diva Needs a Daddy
Here's a treat from the camera archives...it's a mystery that I forgot to post these beauties, but I will redeem myself by debuting them now in all their glory. This is what went on in the backseat while I was driving home from Cedar City in March.
What a special daddy these girls have!

Have Your Cupcake and Eat it, Too
Since we are fancy parents, Savanna got to decorate
cupcakes for her birthday. For a two-year-old,
"decorate" actually just means "eat the sprinkles
and lick the frosting and give the cupcake to daddy."
Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure that's what it
means for a four-year-old, as well.
